Description:
A carved wood money box in the form of a tank, dating to the early 20th century. This charming money box is a touching piece of trench art and is constructed of wood with decorative brass pique work. The roof of the tank has a slot for money to be deposited and can be opened by lifting the hinged front section of the tank. Underneath bears an inscription “TH 2876”.

Condition:
Some old woodworm holes mostly to one piece on the underside. Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
