Description:
Two Georgian turned fruitwood goblets, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. Both of these goblets have a good shape and a highly desirable rich colour and patina. The taller of the two has a dark interior from age and use, whereas the smaller has either had very little use or has been cleaned.
Dimensions:
Taller goblet: Height: 18.2cm. Diameter of base: 9.7cm.
Smaller goblet: Height: 14cm. Diameter of base: 9.6cm.
Condition:
Larger goblet has a shrinkage/age crack on the bowl, stem and foot. The smaller goblet has a lesser shrinkage crack on part of the bowl and stem. Age related wear as expected. Otherwise in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
