Two Florentine giltwood wall brackets/shelves, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. These are a good matched pair of shelves, one larger than the other, that are finely carved with flowing acanthus leaves. Both shelves retain their original gilding that is in good condition.

Large shelf: Height: 24.9cm. Width: 23.4cm. Depth: 13.3cm. Small shelf: Height: 15.4cm. Width: 14.3cm. Depth: 9.1cm.
Condition:
Small shelf has a small part of the carving reglued (very hard to notice). Both shelves have very minor partial crack/opening where the carved section meets the top – this is part of the construction that has just opened up slightly (see photos). They are otherwise very strong and stable. Some minor wear to gilding and some faint marks to top of the shelves. Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
