A Javanese carved wood & painted Topeng Mask, dating to the early 20th century or before. This old mask mask could be 19th century and has an excellent patina from age and use. As can be seen it has been broken in multiple parts and rejoined with metal wire/staples, which in my opinion adds to its character and appeal.

Broken into multiple pieces and repaired with metal wire. Areas of loss to paint. Age related wear as expected. Please examine photos carefully.
