An African paddle, dating to the 19th or early 20th century. This wooden paddle is possibly from west Africa, Senufo? I am not sure. It has an elegant shape and form with the paddle head terminating with a nodule. This paddle has an excellent patina and surface with “rippling” and tooling marks visible on the wood.

Condition:
A small age-related vertical split to top of head. Some old small paint splatters. Some light surface marks. Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
