A fine painting of Saint Teresea of Avila in prayer reflecting upon a skull, dating to the 17th century. Oil on canvas and presented in a old gilt frame. Saint Teresea was a Carmelite nun, a Spanish mystic and a doctor of the church. The painting is a good size and painted to a high standard.
