A folk art roly-poly clown toy, dating probably to the early 20th century. This amusing roly-poly toy depicts a clown dressed in a yellow top with off-white ruff with red dots, blue gloves and a red hat. The rounded base is painted with various animals such as cows, camel and an elephant. The piece is constructed of papier-mache with a weighted base (possibly wood) so the toy can be wobbled and pushed back and forth without it falling over.

Crack that extends around the body with some paint flaking/loss in the area, and some other small areas of minor paint loss. Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
