Description:
A portrait painting of a Spaniel, indistinctly signed lower right and dated 1876. Oil on board and presented in a period oval gilt frame with mount. This fine quality painting depicts a portrait of a black and white Spaniel that appears to be after Edwin Landseer's painting “Dash” (slightly different collar), which is a portrait of Queen Victoria's dog. This is a lovely painting that is well presented and in ready to hang condition.

Condition:
Slight varnish yellowing and some slight surface dirt. Age related wear as expected. Overall in good ready to hang condition. Please examine photos carefully.
