A charming portrait of a clergyman, dating to circa 1800. Oil on panel and presented in a period mahogany veneered frame with gilt slip. The sitter is dressed in a black overcoat and a lace white collar. The young clergyman is sitting at a desk with the bible at hand and his fingers just about to turn a page.

Picture has a partial split to the far right edge running vertically. Some surface bumps, knocks and craquelure. Age related wear as expected but presents well and is in otherwise ready to hang condition. Please examine photos carefully.
