A humorous papier-mache circular snuff box, dating to circa 1820. The cover is hand-painted with a portrait of a dwarf carrying a yoke and two pails in an interior setting. The box has a black interior and is unsigned.

Condition:
The painting is in good condition with very faint wear. The base of the box has some knocks and areas of damage around the edges. Age related wear as expected but overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
