Two Austrian terracotta pug dog statues, dating to the late 19th century. These charming pug dogs are finely modelled and painted and both have glass eyes. They both have extensive restoration as detailed in the condition report below.

Condition:
All four legs on both statues have been repaired/reattached and are hard to notice – the back leg of one has been totally rebuilt. One dog has the tip of one ear missing and the tip of the other repaired. Small chip to the very tip of one ear on both dogs. The glass eyes are slightly scuffed on both dogs – one more than the other with possible hairline cracks. Age related wear as expected. The restoration has been done to a high standard and they present well. Please examine photos carefully.
