A great pair of carved limewood swags/wall appliques in the manner of Grinling Gibbons, dating to the first half of the 19th century. Wonderful bunches of fruit and leaves carved in excellent detail. Good size and very decorative.

Condition:
There are losses around the edges to some of the leaves on both pieces. One of the swags has an old metal repair to the back of the “neck” area where it was once broken and now reattached. Age related wear as expected but overall in okay and presentable condition. Please examine photos carefully.
