Description:
A Japanese netsuke, dating to the 19th century, Meiji period, possibly Edo. This finely carved netsuke depicts a shishi (lion dog) and cub. The shishi is resting with the cub climbing upon him. This netsuke is expertly carved and has natural himotoshi formed by the legs on the underside. The netsuke has a great colour and patina and is unsigned.

Height: 2.6cm. Width: 5.1cm. Depth: 2.7cm.
Condition:
Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
