A unique artist's lay figure, dating to circa 1910. Of metal construction with carved wood head, hands and feet. Each joint is ball-jointed with screw mechanisms to tighten and loosen. The head, hands and feet are exceptionally well carved in wood. This is presumably a one-off scratch-built piece that is as wonderful as it is scarce.

Glue repair to right thigh joint but does not affect the movability. Age related wear as expected but overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
