A large carved and gilded Florentine frame, dating to the second half of the 19th century. This is an excellent quality tondo/circular frame with finely a carved acanthus leaf scroll and scallop shell design. The frame retains its original gilding that has a wonderful finish/patina.
Some minor wear to the gilding in areas. Age related wear as expected. Overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
