A Balinese carved wood statue of a lady, dating to the mid 20th century. This statue is a large size and is finely carved with good attention to detail. The statue depicts a lady in a wonderful stylised elongated form stood upon a lotus. The piece is inscribed/signed “I.W.J GaLOJOH MAS”(?) underneath. Condition:
There is a crack to her forearm (see photos). Chip to one leaf of the lotus. Possibly a very small chip re-glued to tip of branch she's holding. Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
