A Northwest Coast ceremonial paddle, dating to the first half of the 20th century. This Haida / Tlingit paddle is carved of cedar wood and is of typical form with the head finely carved in low-relief on both sides. This paddle is short in length and likely carved for the early traveller/tourist market. The paddle has a good colour and patina.

Multiple surface marks, bumps and blemishes and some faint scratches. Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
