A wonderful Gothic Revival gilt brass hanging sanctuary lamp or censer, dating to the second half of the 19th century. The piece is of excellent quality with chased quatrefoil designs and scrolling handles. The piece includes its original chain and hanging fixture. I believe this piece should possibly have a lid/cover that is now missing.
