A pair of ecclesiastical Gothic Revival brass candlesticks, dating to circa 1870. These are a substantial and great quality pair of altar candlesticks, each with gothic sconces with pierced decoration and large prickets, set on knopped stems and circular bases with pierced decoration, supported by three resting lions. These are a heavy pair weighing approx 3.6kg each. The underside of one lion is stamped “G. COLLES & Co, BRUXELLES”.
