A wonderful pair of carved gilt wood & painted Gothic Revival spires/steeples, dating to the 19th century. The pair are great quality with carved tracery and decorative elements. They are part gilded and part painted in blue, green, and red. These could have original been furniture or architectural elements, such as part of an altar or rood screen. They are incredibly decorative and work well displayed on a mantelpiece.

Condition:
There are some missing/broken pieces of the applied carving on both (6 on one, 6 on the other), otherwise the pieces appear okay with age related wear as expected. Please examine photos carefully.
