A Fijian carved Ula throwing club, dating to the early 19th century. This Ula's form is known as “I Ula Kitu” with the pointed ball shaped head resembling a young husked coconut. The Ula has an excellent dark colour and glossy patina.

Condition:
Appears to be burn/charred marks on one side of the shaft. Small partial hole on shaft near head. Minor age related splits to head. Age related wear as expected. Overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
