A Fijian carved Ula throwing club, dating to the 19th century. This Ula is a ball-headed example with a finely carved grip of unusual designs and a recessed butt. There are some faint letters/words lightly inscribed on the handle. The Ula has a good dark colour and glossy patina.

Age related splits in places, mostly to the shaft. Age related wear as expected. Overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
