A fine painting of Christ, Ecce Homo, signed & dated 1874. Oil on canvas and presented in a later (20th century) gilt frame. The painting is after Guido Reni's depiction of Ecce Homo and has been skilfully painted to a very high standard. I cannot decipher the signature but it appears to possibly be German?.

Area of touching-in/overpaint/restoration to the beard and neck area. Smaller touch-in to collarbone area. Old relining. Age related wear as expected but displays well. Please examine photos carefully.
