A devil hand puppet, dating to circa 1900. This hand Puppet depicts a Devil likely from a Punch & Judy set and is constructed of a carved wood and painted face, wooden feet, and dressed in cotton clothes. It is presented on a good quality ebonised display stand.

Height when on display stand: 32cm. Base diameter: 10.9cm.
Some paint loss to the face. Clothes are dirty and threadbare with small holes in places. Possibly had shoes that are now missing. Age related wear as expected. Please examine photos carefully.
