An unusual pair of candlesticks, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Each made from multiple steel cogs and gears of various sizes & shapes, these are an extraordinary pair of candlesticks that are presumably one of a kind. There are no sconces and no way for these to hold candles so they are only decorative pieces in the form of candlesticks, but perhaps a clever individual could finish them off with something appropriate if needs be.

Height: 22.6cm (23.6cm inc the small nodule). Width/diameter of base: 9.1cm.
Condition:
The base of one has a small loss to three of the teeth (last photo). Some light surface rusting. Age related wear as expected but overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
