A carved and gilded frame, dating to the early 19th century. This is a good quality frame with finely carved scrolling acanthus leaves and flowers. The frame retains its original gilding that has a lovely finish/patina. The frame has two rebates to allow a pane of glass if needs be.

Condition:
Some wear to the gilding in areas and minor losses to the gilding along outer edges. Age related wear as expected. Overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
