A carved wood statue of a bishop, dating to the 18th century. Good quality carving and a nice colour and patina. There are some small traces of paint in areas.

I believe the hands are of separate construction and may have been reattached at some point – one has a old hand forged nail visible at the front. One of the hands has some damage on the fingers. Age related wear as expected but overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
