Description:

A Victorian carved wood money box in the form of a bank, dating to the late 19th century. This charming money box is constructed of wood with decorative engraved brass plaques representing the doors, windows and signage. The roof of the bank has a slot for money to be deposited and can be opened with a key to the front. The box has a brass locking mechanism and brass hinges.

Dimensions:

Height: 10cm. Width: 12.4cm. Depth: 7cm.

Condition:

The key is slightly loose within the lock and can require a bit of wriggling for it to be locked and unlocked. One brass pin missing to the plaque of the door. Some light marks and wear. Age related wear as expected. Overall good. Please examine photos carefully.
