This sampler is signed “Wrought by IN Taught by EW in the year 1759” and is finely decorated with a poem, floral motifs, trees, two birds and two deer. Mounted on paper with wooden backing, screwed into back of frame. Some old wormholes to the reverse of the wooden backing. The frame has wear and tear with minor marks and some losses to the outer edges. Despite the condition issues the pieces does display well and is ready to hang.
